Paola Pivi

Biography

Paola Pivi’s (°1971, Milan, Italy) multidisciplinary art is characterised by simple gestures, displacements and poetic shifts in context or scale and was influenced by her nomadic existence. Her oeuvre consists of photographs, sculptures, performances and large installations. Pivi’s artistic practice confronts us with unexpected situations and questions what it means to be human and how we relate to nature.
