HERE TO THERE

HERE TO THERE (Hier Naar Daar)—along with its French (D'ici à là) translation — continues Lawrence Weiner’s conceptual engagement with typographic texts and designs. In it, a playful series of short statements (“Imagined things can be altered to suit” / “Spit into the wind, hope for the best”) appear alongside carefully selected symbols (arrows, circles overlapping like Venn Diagrams) to narrate a graphic statement about progress and its inherent relationship to both linear and nonlinear patterns. Edited by Larry Warsh.
